Litter of Light


In this Campaign our objective is to eradicate the problem of electricity at night in a village.
During this Campaign,we provided 15 houses with Solar-portable lights which can be charged by solar energy. We made a simple circuit of solar panels, battery, light emitting diodes (LEDs) and some resistors. The LEDs were attached to the caps of the bottles, which contained water and alum(to refract the light).The batteries can be charged through the solar panels for three hours, which gives 80% optimum charge for four to five hours or two to three days.The life expectancy of the bottle is two to three years. The group of people we targetted in our liter of light campaign are people of villages with no or very less access to any form of light energy resources.The portable solar light we made is very affordable.

LETTERS TO SILENT HEROES


In this Campaign, our objective is to send motivational letters to to the Armed forced of Indian Army, Navy and Airforce to let them know that we support their work and how much we appreciate their contributions for our country. During this Campaign, we placed desks around the campus on which we invited people to write motivational messages for the armed forces. After this, we will be sending the letters to different addresses to different stations of the Indian Armed forces. Atlast, we will put up the pictures received from Armed forces on our social media sites.

SCHOOL LEARNING


In School Learning Campaign, our objective is to educate the underprivileged students by providing them with seminars on few important social topics which would help them grow and improve their future. During this Campaign, Students from team AARUUSH visited different government schools and conducted seminars on different social topics and furthermore we interacted with the school kids and played small games with them too. To make the kids aware of the new technology (Smart classrooms) we conducted the seminars by showing them videos and pictures of the topic we covered so as to make the seminar more interactive for the kids. This is a four-month Campaign in which we will be visiting each school once in a month for four consecutive months from July to October.
